A Fab lab refers to digital fabrication laboratory. It is a place for learning and innovation: a place to play, to create, to learn, to mentor, to invent.

To be a Fab Lab means connecting to a global community of learners, educators, technologists, researchers, makers and innovators- -a knowledge sharing network that spans 100 countries and 24 time zones. Because all Fab Labs share common tools and processes, the program is building a global network and a distributed laboratory for research and invention.

Fab Labs typically include: Hardware and Software

Hardware

3D Printer and Scanning

The most popular 3D printing technique is Fused Filament Fusion (FFF) like 3D printer “ultimaker and prusa “ A 3D scanner makes a 3D digital copy of an object like “sense2”
